Manu Tuilagi has been warned he risks “spending a lot more time in the midlands” if he crosses England boss Eddie Jones again.
“He’s only done it once with me,” Jones said.
“Everyone talks about previous records but he’s only done it once with me. If he does it again, then he’ll maybe spending a lot more time in the midlands.”
Therefore, both Tuilagi and cross-code star Solomona will be given every chance to earn selection for the autumn.
“These things happen. It’s a poor choice,” Jones said.

News on Manu Tuilagi’s England chances
“They understand they made a poor choice, the team understand they made a poor choice.
“It’s all over now. Everyone makes bad mistakes, we’ve all done it, so we will just assess them over the next period of time.
“If they’re eligible for selection and if I meet with them – and I’ve met one of them [Tuilagi] already face to face – and if their attitude is right then we will pick them. If it’s not, then we won’t pick them.”
