Eddie Jones has dropped Danny Cipriani from the England squad based on form and says he is ‘third or fourth choice’.
The Aussie has defended his decision to pick just two number 10s in the squad in the shape of Owen Farrell and George Ford with Harlequins Marcus Smith also missing out.
When asked if dropping Cipriani was down to form, Jones said in a press conference: “100 per cent. We’ve decided to have just two stand offs.
“Danny is probably third or fourth stand-off. He knows what he has to work on. He’s disappointed but understands.
