4. Multi-sport athlete
Daly was a talented cricketer as a teenager, representing England Under-15s and Surrey at various age-group levels. He was an all-rounder, with fast bowling his forte, and appeared good enough to possibly make the first-class county grade before he chose rugby union. He’s also a big cricket fan
5. Partner
The fullback met his gorgeous girlfriend when he was still at school. The pair met at the £18,618-a-year Whitgift School for boys in Croydon, south London, where Daly, 28, was a pupil and she worked as a sports events organiser – although they were both 18 at the time.
6. Nickname
He got his nickname, Briefcaser, after the back turned up at his first Wasps training session in his Whitgift school uniform and carrying you know what!
