An England fan was attacked by a gang of men in Wales just hours after the big international clash between the two countries, the Police have confirmed to Wales Online.
Dyfed-Powys Police are appealing for information regarding what they describe as a “racially aggravated assault” in Llanelli.
The incident took place around three hours after Wales had defeated England on February 23.
According to police he walked past Llanelli Magistrates’ Court and then down Bridge Street and at around 8.15pm, as he was walking near the Credit Union shop, he was allegedly attacked by a group comprising of three or four men.
