Eddie Jones says England are “capable” of beating the All Blacks

  • Eddie Jones would like to take on the All Blacks tomorrow
  • The Aussie said he’d be confident taking on the world champions
  • He’s focussed on his side getting better and better
England head coach Eddie Jones revealed he’d love to take on the All Blacks tomorrow if they had the opportunity. 

Jones spoke to BBC Sport ahead of his sides clash with Italy on Sunday, suggesting that a Test with New Zealand would show how far his side have came.

“We’re happy to play the All Blacks tomorrow,” said Jones.

“I’ve got no doubt if we took them on tomorrow that we’re capable of beating them,

“We don’t control when we are going to play them, all we have to control is getting better,

“We’ll get better and better, so when the opportunity comes we’ll be ready for it.”



Jones also revealed he was very impressed by Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, who visited the England camp yesterday.
