Mark Mapletoft's England A side secured a convincing 59-24 victory over Argentina XV at The Rec on Friday night, with several players delivering impressive performances.
As the second tier of England's international pathway, the squad offers fringe internationals an opportunity to make their case for senior selection, and a number certainly took their chance.
With England preparing to begin their Nations Championship autumn campaign on Sunday, questions remain over several positions in Steve Borthwick's side.
Here are three players who stood out on Friday night and could have put themselves firmly on the senior coach's radar.

Noah Caluori

Despite not seeing a huge amount of the ball, Caluori continues to prove that he can make things happen with even the smallest of opportunities.
The winger bagged a brace, with both finishes relatively straightforward, but still managed to steal the show with a spectacular dive for one of his tries.
In the air, he is virtually unstoppable.
Caluori dominated against a young Argentina side, although that should come as little surprise given he has already demonstrated his ability to compete against senior opposition.
The 20-year-old will already be firmly on Steve Borthwick's radar after featuring for England during the summer, and this performance will only have strengthened his case for further opportunities.

Max Ojomoh

Aside from one handling error that contributed to an Argentina try, Ojomoh delivered a top-quality performance at The Rec, particularly given the recent rumours linking him with a move to France and potentially stepping away from his England career.
England should be doing everything possible to keep him in the country after this display, while also giving him more opportunities at senior level following his impressive last Test appearance against Argentina.
The inside centre combined brilliantly with Charlie Atkinson as second receiver, showing excellent judgement in knowing when to take the ball to the line and when to release it.
He also developed a promising partnership with Luke Northmore, linking up with the Harlequins centre for Atkinson's try after previously providing the assist for one of Caluori's scores.
An intelligent and composed playmaker, Ojomoh surely deserves another opportunity given the lack of cohesion in England's senior midfield at present.

Caolan Englefield

Englefield quietly went about his business but proved to be one of the most important players in England's victory.
The Gloucester scrum-half kept things simple, but executed the basics to an exceptionally high standard.
His speed of play was outstanding, while his control of the game helped England maintain their momentum throughout. He was deservedly named Player of the Match for his efforts.
With Alex Mitchell currently injured and the second scrum-half position seemingly up for grabs, Englefield could emerge as a surprise contender for England's World Cup squad.
Jack van Poortvliet has performed well for England, Archie McParland remains a talented but relatively unproven option, and Ben Spencer does not appear to be a preferred choice under Borthwick. That could potentially leave the door open for Englefield.
At 27, he is entering his prime and has enjoyed an excellent start to the season with Gloucester.
His growing understanding with Charlie Atkinson was again evident, with the pair continuing to build an impressive partnership.
