England vs Tonga player ratings as Eddie Jones men scored 11 tries to ease to a dominant victory in front of a sold out Twickenham.
The 81,000 back for the first time since March 2020 were treated to five first-half tries from the hosts.
England dominated from the start with Adam Radwan crossing after just two minutes before Jamie George doubled the hosts advantage, 10-0.
Tonga captain Sonatane Takulua got the visitors on the board with a penalty – but tries from Jonny May and Maro Itoje, which were both converted by Henry Slade, put the hosts clear.
Ben Youngs added a fifth for the hosts in first half extra time to give England a healthy 29-3 lead at the break.
After the restart, England continued to dominate with Youngs, May and George all grabbing their second tries to extend the lead to 43 points.
Replacements Marcus Smith, Jamie Blamire, and Alex Mitchell then scored late tries to put the icing on the cake of a fine performance.
England have much sterner Tests to come, as they face Australia next Saturday before hosting world champions South Africa.
