England’s Ultimate All-time 31 man squad

So, narrowing that down into one ultimate 31-man squad won’t be easy.

It’ll be fun, though, and, this is a lockdown, it’s what we do now.

Here we go.

Back-three (5)

  • Jason Robinson
  • Rory Underwood
  • David Duckham
  • Jonny May
  • Ben Cohen

Centre (4)

  • Will Greenwood

If you’re including all eras you must include the most destructive and niggly prop. Geoff Probyn, he reduced David Sole to cutying off sleeves and vaselinent ing his arm to prevent a fair bind, he niggled Fredfie Mendez so much he got him sent off, same for French prop. He may not have been the most mobile and he may havr looked like an old man but the guy was nails. He was also cruelly overlooked in the first world cup where they decided they didn’t need a specialist tight head. Big mistake.
