England’s youngest ever XV includes Arundell, Marler and Wilkinson

SECOND-ROW:

Lock: Maro Itoje (21y 133d) :The superstar youngster received his first call-up to the senior England squad from new coach Eddie Jones for the 2016 Six Nations Championship and went on to make his first-team debut against Italy. He’s since become one of the best players in the world today.

Lock: Garath Archer (21 78d): The trained carpenter made his debut international appearance for England during March 1996 in the Five Nations that season, in a match against Scotland. He went on to win 21 caps between up until 2000.

BACK-ROW:

Flanker: Pat Sanderson (20y 287d): Sanderson was first capped on England’s 1998 southern hemisphere tour as a 20-year-old, facing New Zealand twice and South Africa. He then went on to skipper England in what was a stellar career

Flanker: Tom Curry (18y 360d)

Number 8: Billy Vunipola (20 364d): He trained with the England Squad during the 2013 Six Nations Championship and made his senior England debut during the England tour of Argentina. He’s now established himself as a certain Lion and arguably one of England’s few world-class players.
