Everyone is saying the same thing about Warren Gatland less than 30 minutes into comeback

Twitter has not been kind to Wales head coach Warren Gatland after his sides dismal opening 40 against Ireland.

Returning to the role following Wayne Pivac’s dismissal in December, the men in red found themselves 27-3 down at the break in front of a stunned Cardiff crowd.

Many have joked that Gatland will be regretting his comeback. His face certainly suggests he is.

Gareth Rees wrote: “Not even 5 minutes in and out atmosphere dies. Warren Gatland already looks like he is regretting coming back.”

Another fan commented: “I get that Wales Rugby weren’t in a good position. But whatever the problem, Warren Gatland isn’t the solution.”

Someone else said: “Look at Gatland’s face, he will be on the first flight back to New Zealand after this game.

Andrew Priestley said: “Warren Gatland might just explode at half-time when he gets his hands on his team after their first-half penalty and error count.”

Ian Turner said: “Warren Gatland might be gone again by half-time.”

Another said: “Warren Gatland’s face! Not the start he was expecting I’d imagine”
