Everyone is wondering why Leicester have removed the Tiger from their badge

Leicester have removed the iconic Tiger from their club logo, to raise awareness on World Wildlife Day. The club are also supporting the #WorldWithoutNature campaign, which highlights the loss of biodiversity throughout the natural world.

Leicester Tigers are working in partnership with the World Wildlife Foundation, to present the ongoing damage to the environment, and how to help for a better future.

The simplistic design is clearly missing the tiger, and will represent the natural world before too long if action is not taken. The political world is aware of the global climate crisis, yet more action needs to be done in order to have the natural world thriving once again.

Staggeringly, an approximated one million animal and plant species are threatened with extinction. This is at an all-time high, due to the deforestation of the natural world, and the impact of human industry.
