Argentina and Jaguares number eight Facundo Isa has had the final year of his contract paid off, leaving him free to move to France.
The UAR released a statement on Tuesday confirming that Isa was free to move overseas after having had the final year of his deal terminated.
The talented back-rower will now link up with Lyon as a medical joker before completing a long-term move to Toulon ahead of next season.
The talented 23-year-old, a standout player for club and country in 2016, will be unable to play for the national side while he plays overseas, as is the case for Juan Imhoff and Marcos Ayerza among others.
His absence will also be a signifcant blow for the Jaguares ahead of the start of Super Rugby this week.
