Gallagher Premiership final 2019 player ratings:

Exeter Chiefs player ratings:

15 Jack Nowell: A player typical of the big-hearted club and was clearly a target for Saracen defenders. It will be a worry for Eddie Jones to see him limp off. – 8.5

14 Alex Cuthbert: Despite being on the losing side, it’s good to see the Welsh man getting back to his best. – 7.5

13 Henry Slade: Binned for a deliberate knock-on, which ultimately cost his side a try in the first half. Made up for it with a fantastic score in the second-half but also missed five tackles. – 6.5

12 Ollie Devoto: Led the charge for the Chiefs. Had a fantastic battle with Brad Barritt, and nothing with which to reproach himself – 7

11 Tom O’Flaherty: He remained optimistic throughout. Never stopped trying to inspire with the ball in hand. 6.5

10 Joe Simmonds: Courageous if not as effective as he would have liked. 6.5

9 Nic White: The playmaker opened the try-scoring after 25 seconds, but that’s as good as it got for the Australian on a tough afternoon. – 6.5
