Gallagher Premiership team of the midweek - Round 19

Round 19 of the Gallagher Premiership showcased six exciting matches with a number of standout performances with Bristol Bears and Wasps impressing.
Gallagher Premiership Round 19 Results:
- Bristol Bears 47-10 Northampton Saints
- Exeter Chiefs 35-32 Gloucester Rugby
- Wasps 54-7 Leicester Tigers
- Sale 24-17 Saracens
- Bath 40-15 Worcester Warriors
- London Irish 15-38 Harlequins
But who stood out?
Here's our team of the mid-week.
Fullback: Stuart Hogg (Exeter Chiefs) - Another strong performance from the Sotland captain against Gloucester. He made a stunning 104 metres and beat four defenders from his six carries before worryingly limping off.
Winger: Rotimi Segun (Saracens) - The powerful, explosive speedster caught the eye despite his sides defeat against Sale, scoring two tries in the process.
Centre: Semi Radradra (Bristol Bears) - Outstanding once again in attack, making 139 metres across the eighty minutes. Radradra and Piers O'Conor are forming a strong midfield for the Bears.
Centre: Josh Matavesi (Bath RFC) - Started at fly-half, but we've got him in his usual midfield position. This break alone warrants his inclusion.
Winger: Zach Kibirige (Wasps) - He was in fantastic form, making 93 metres from six carries, beating two defenders and scoring a try. A class act.
Fly-half: Marcus Smith (Harlequins): He was the stand-out performer for Quins with 16 points, made up of two tries and three conversions. Eased past 500 points for his club in the process, the second youngest in the Premiership ever to do so behind Jonny Wilkinson.
Scrum-half: Andy Uren (Bristol Bears) - Combined with Callum Sheedy well to up the pace of the game which helped the Bears attack breach the Northampton defence. Strong in support of Ben Earl’s break to score his try.
Loosehead-prop: Valery Morozov (Sale Sharks) - The Russian powerhouse scored a very important first half try and tackled relentlessly, landing 10 and missing zero.
Hooker: Harry Thacker (Bristol Bears) - He may have failed to play in Semi Radradra when he should have, but it was a performance that had everything. Strong in defence, making twelve tackles, and impressive in the set piece winning twelve lineouts. Capped a fine performance with a try.
Tighthead-prop: Kyle Sinckler (Bristol Bears) - The England star played a big part in two scrum penalties which changed the game. He was also strong in defence making 12 tackles.
Lock: Jonny Gray (Exeter Chiefs) - When the Scotland forward gets to work, he's absolutely brilliant. 12 strong carries and nine tackles, missing none.
Lock: Elliott Stooke (Bath Rugby) - Probably the in-form second-row in the Gallagher Premiership. Two tries, one assist, 12 strong carries for 27 metres and 10 tackles.
Blindside-flanker: Alfie Barbeary (Wasps): My player of the week. Barbeary, who can also play hooker, was selected ahead of in-form England prospect Jack Willis at blindside flanker and on this man-of-the-match evidence Eddie Jones will soon have another back-row option on his radar.
Openside-flanker: Ben Curry (Sale Sharks) - it was Curry's breakdown work that continued to keep the Sharks in the fight against Saracens.

Number 8: Ben Earl (Bristol Bears) - The Bristol Bears No.8 edged out Sam Simmonds for a place in our team of the week. Assisted Andy Uren’s try with an outstanding line break and then showed impressive speed of thought to pick and go through the ruck for his try.
