Australia international and Toulon star Matt Giteau will have surgery next Monday to repair a damaged groin.
The 33-year-old took to Twitter on Wednesday (France time) to announce the news, without specifying how much time he would need to recover.

The injury obviously has an impact on his Champions Cup campaign with Toulon, who are in a rather precarious position in Pool 5.
The World Cup runner-up would have been an asset ahead of the match against Wasps on Sunday.
