“Great acting” – Antoine Dupont accused of ‘playacting’ against Harlequins

A number of fans believe Toulouse star Antoine Dupont ‘playacted’ to get Harlequins hooker Jack Walker sin-binned during their Champions Cup semi-final.

One fan wrote: “Didn’t touch his head! Play acting from Dupont,”

Another said: “Cheeky simulation from Dupont there. Hate to see it,”

A third commented: “Didn’t even touch his head. Dupont great acting,”

“Huge respect to Dupont for surviving a near death experience but not needing a HIA,” wrote a fourth sarcastically.

However, some fans and pundits didn’t think the yellow card punishment was enough for the England hooker.

Austin Healey commented: “Red I’m afraid,”

Another said: “A couple errors from the ref ? . Gave a 50 22. Kick from inside the half. Tackle on Dupont definite red”

2025 Six Nations fixtures confirmed with England handed toughest possible start

England will kick off their 2025 Guinness Six Nations campaign with an away match at the Aviva Stadium against Ireland.
