“I should have chosen Joe Marler” – Eddie Jones reveals XV that should have started World Cup final

England head coach Eddie Jones has admitted he made two selection mistakes heading into the 2019 Rugby World Cup final against South Africa.

The men in white, who were chasing their second title, were defeated 32-12 by South Africa in Yokohama and Jones said he was left to rue his decisions.

“I accept that I made two selection mistakes for the final,” Jones writes in his autobiography My Life and Rugby, which was serialised in The Times.
