Saracens and England star Ben Earl has revealed he wants to ‘give rugby league a try’ at some point during his career.
Reports suggest that he is a target for numerous clubs in the 13-man game following his latest snub by Eddie Jones for the 2022 Six Nations.
Earl even had set up a training session with the Leeds Rhinos, but those plans were halted by the pandemic.
“At some point my career, I would love to give it (rugby league) a try, if the opportunity arose,” Earl said.
“There was actually an opportunity to for me to do some training with Leeds Rhinos this summer just gone. It just didn’t work out.
“They just had a Cup Final and rugby league was hit really badly with Covid, right in the middle of their season.”

The Five Worst England Players Have Been Ranked…
#5. Danny Cipriani
World-class on his day, but I don’t think any England fan will argue that the mercurial fly-half winning just 16 caps during his career can only be considered a complete disaster. He was never able to replicate his club form on the international stage. So disappointing.
