Saracens captain Brad Barritt will have an operation on a facial injury picked up in Saracens’ Premiership match against Bath on Saturday.
The centre was forced off in the first half of Saturday’s 50-27 win at Allianz Park after catching a boot to the face in a tackle.
He saw a consultant following the match to discover the extend of the damage and will have surgery this week, ruling him out of the Harlequins match.
Saracens are currently at the top of the Premiership standings with a maximum of 25 points from their five matches.
