Andy Farrell has selected his team, as Ireland look to keep their Grand Slam hopes in-tact with a fourth round victory over Scotland. Tasked with the trip to Murrayfield, the Six Nations dark horses will be looking to upset Ireland, and will by no means be a straightforward victory.
Farrell has re-shuffled the pack this week, after a handful of his top stars were rewarded with a rest against Italy. Johnny Sexton returns at fly half to captain Ireland, and is looking to make history against Scotland. Sexton is just seven points adrift of Ronan O’Gara’s all-time Six Nations points record of 557, and will look to surpass this in Edinburgh.
Tadhg Furlong makes his long awaited comeback from injury in the front row, for his first match of the 2023 Six Nations. Conor Murray is again starting at scrum half, with Bundee Aki moving to inside centre as Garry Ringrose comes back in at 13. Dan Sheehan is once again starting at hooker, he too missed the match in Rome.
