Wasps fly-half Jacob Umaga was sent off for dangerous play on Courtnall Skosan during their Sunday clash with Norhampton Saints.
After a heavy collision, the Wasp playmaker was able to leave the field on his own steam.
One fan wrote: “That was a shocker.”
“Zero attempt for the ball! Commentary said three red cards in the last two seasons? That’s really not okay.” added a second.
A third commented: “Straight red no doubt, players need protecting from themselves,”

Ireland legend Peter O’Mahony has recalled some of the toughest players he has come up against throughout his career.
The 32-year-old, who we included in our 2022 World XV, was a star performer as Ireland recorded a historic first away series win in New Zealand this summer.
Interestingly, his trio of toughest ever opponents, which you can see below, all played for the All Blacks.
