Leicester Tigers can confirmย Bryce Hegartyย has departed the club.
As announced in August, the 30-year-old leaves Leicester to join Australian Super Rugby side, the Western Force.
Hegarty has made 15 appearances since his Tigers debut in October 2021 and scored 63 points, including four tries.
Speaking about his time at the club, Hegarty said: “I’ve enjoyed my time here, really enjoyed my time as a Leicester Tigers player and feel like I have learned a lot.”
“It has been a good growing experience for me, on and off the field, and am grateful for having had this opportunity.
“I’m excited for the next chapter; a big part of returning to Australia is my ambition to be a part of a Wallabies squad and taking part in the Rugby World Cup, as well as the chance to link up with Simon Cron and the Western Force of which I am looking forward to next season.
