LIONS INJURY UPDATE: All the latest news on British & Irish Lions players with a number of Warren Gatland’s players carrying injuries with one player set to 'go home'.
Check out his full squad update below.
#1. MARO ITOJE
Gatland was forced into a late change to his starting line-up yesterday with second row Maro Itoje dropping out with a gastric illness. It's believed he is likely to miss the midweek game also as he continues to be unwell
#2. FINN RUSSELL
The Scotland star may be forced home from the British and Irish Lions tour of South Africa with an Achilles tear, says head coach Warren Gatland.
The Scotland international, 28, will be unavailable until the start of the three-Test series on 24 July at best.
"If he makes good progress we'll assess him going forward. If he's not, then there's a possibility he may go home," said Gatland.
#3. ROBBIE HENSHAW
When the Lions squad was announced, Henshaw was almost a dead cert to start in the tests against South Africa, after an excellent season for Leinster was coupled with a top quality Six Nations.
But his tour has been thrown into jeopardy by a hamstring injury picked up before the game against the Sharks. However, finally some good news for Gatland, as Henshaw is running again and in contention to face South Africa A in the week.
