The 28-year-old’s uplift in form since being dropped by Jones continued with another Impressive display as Leicester Tigers beat Bath 40-23 at Welford Road last Friday night.
Leicestershire Live: “His kicking in-play put Leicester in the positions they needed to make the most of their prolific scoring in the 24 although Ford didn’t have quite the same sparkle ball-in-hand.
“But that didn’t matter, his try was great heads-up rugby and he was flawless off the tee despite the fireworks going off around Welford Road.”
