Mako Vunipola BANNED after red card against Newcastle Falcons

England and Saracens prop Mako Vunipola has been banned after receiving the first red card of his professional career against Newcastle Falcons over the weekend.

“The first thing about Mako is that he is not a dirty player,” Joe Shaw, the Saracens head coach, said. “That’s his first red card which, considering the amount of games he’s played, says something. It was reckless but we’ll see what happens in the coming days.”

The people was charged with dangerous play after receiving a red card against Newcastle.

He received a three week ban which may be reduced to two if he completes a World Rugby Coaching Intervention Programme.
