Voted Newcastle player of the year for the 2018/2019 season, Takulua is also one of the top scorers in his championship.
So inevitably, Falcons supporters were shocked to learn of the departure of one of their star players, and that with immediate effect.
There has been no official confirmation from Championship league-leaders yet, but it’s believed they’ve received a fee for the 29-year-old.
