“Positive talks” – Eddie Jones meets with his possible replacement ahead of third test

England head coach Eddie Jones a has revealed he met up with Crusaders head coach Scott Robertson for a chat ahead of his sides series decider on Saturday.

The Aussie, who could be replaced by Robertson when he departs in 2023, revealed on TalkSport that he also met with former All Blacks coach Steve Hansen to discuss tactics ahead of his sides series decider against the Wallabies in Sydney.

Robertson would bring a fresh southern hemisphere approach and perspective, having gained a reputation as one of the most progressive and intuitive club coaches.

His Crusaders side are renowned for their attacking prowess, having won FOUR successive Super Rugby titles and Super Rugby Aotearoa in 2020 and 2022.
