“Aviva Premiership Rugby has never been in better shape and this is another significant step in the global distribution of club rugby union,” said Dominic Hayes the Commercial Director at Premiership Rugby.

“Aviva Premiership Rugby is available in 200 countries, reaching more than 175 million households around the world. Our international broadcast partners include Fox Sports in Australia, NBC in USA, SFR Sport in France, SuperSport in South Africa, Kwese Sports in sub-Saharan Africa, Sky in New Zealand, Rogers in Canada and OSN in MENA as well as DAZN in Japan and Germany. We are delighted to welcome C More and Sweden to the Premiership Rugby family.

C More will air at least one fixture per weekend – live with Swedish commentary on Sportkanalen – for all remaining rounds of the 2017-18 season, including the semi-finals and final.

The deal was secured by Premiership Rugby’s global rights holder RDA, who acquired Premiership Rugby rights outside UK & Eire and USA for five years from the 2016-17 season through to 2020-21, in partnership with French telecoms company Altice.
