“Retain the Title” – England Squad Named for Pre-Women’s Six Nations Training Camp

Red Roses Head Coach John Mitchell has named a 34-player squad for a three-day training camp, as preparations continue ahead of the 2024 Women’s Six Nations. The group will assemble today at St George’s Park, and utilise the state of the art facilities that also act as the home of the England national football team.

Mitchell has named 18 forwards, 16 backs and an additional five players that are continuing their injury recovery. The rehabilitation list includes numerous high profile Red Roses, as the likes of locks Zoe Aldcroft and Rosie Galligan make their way back to fitness. The injury list extends with centre Tatyana Heard, back-row Alex Matthews and scrum half Ella Wyrwas.
