Danny Wilson, formerly Head Coach of Glasgow Warriors and the Scottish national team, will join the coaching team of Leicester Tigers as a part-time consultant for the rest of the 2022/23 season.
He has a history of success, leading Glasgow to the knockout stages of the URC and winning the 2018 European Challenge Cup Final while with Cardiff Blues.
Wilson has also been Head Coach of Wales Under-20s, who reached the World Cup Final in 2012.
Leicester Tigers Interim Head Coach Richard Wigglesworth is excited for the addition of Wilson, praising his expertise in forwards and line outs.
He said: “Danny is an experienced coach who will be a great addition to our team and club.”
“His detail on forwards and line outs is something that we are pleased to add to our group for the remainder of the season.”
