RUCK readers have picked their England XVs to take on Australia

England clashes with Australia in the first quarter-final of the Rugby World Cup on Saturday and there are a number of selection dilemmas facing Eddie Jones.

Therefore, we asked RUCK  readers to vote on the team they would pick to face Australia on Saturday, and you can read the results below…

Fullback: Elliot Daly – 55%| Daly held off a challenge from Anthony Watson by the skin of his teeth to continue his stint as England’s first-choice full-back, although there remain doubts about his defence in this position.

Winger: Jonny May – 62%| No one got close to the England speedster for the wing role, despite having a quieter-than-usual tournament thus far.

Outside-centre: Manu Tuilagi – 71%| The Leicester centre is vital to his country’s success, and he, therefore, won the vote comfortably.

Inside-centre: Owen Farrell – 67%| England’s captain won the inside centre vote comfortably, with Tuilagi his nearest challenger.

Winger: Anthony Watson – 28%| Joe Cokanasiga ran his bath teammate close, but Watson got the nod.

Fly-half: George Ford – 70%| The Leicester playmaker heads into the World Cup knockout stages with both hands firmly on the fly-half jersey after some impressive performances during the Pool stage.
