Wasps boss Dai Young fears the international door maybe closing on son Thomas after his latest omission from the Wales squad.
“The first thing I say to that is fair play to him, he never says anything, he just gets his head down and gets on with it,” said Young.
“I find it hugely frustrating. I can’t see why he hasn’t made the squad. It just seems to me that it will always be anybody bar him.
“If you look at the last three of four squads, they’re either trying somebody new or bringing somebody back, it will just be the case of it’s never going to be him.
When they’re all fit they are a formidable group. The back row in Wales is, there’s lots there.
“But there’s been two or three squads now where there’s been lots of injuries, and they’ve brought guys in from nowhere to give them a go and bring people back after three years.
“You just can’t help but feel it will never be his opportunity.”
