Referee Andrew Brace has been graded following New Zealand's 50-19 demolition of Australia at Eden Park, with supporters divided over the Irish official's performance.
The All Blacks ran in seven tries to secure a convincing Bledisloe Cup victory, but several refereeing decisions sparked debate.
Some fans praised Brace for allowing the game to flow, while others questioned his handling of a crucial Australian attack.
Here is our verdict on the referee's performance.
Andrew Brace referee rating: B+
RUCK verdict: A strong performance overall, with good communication and game management, although a couple of decisions left supporters frustrated.
Brace allowed both teams to play positive rugby and generally kept control of a physical contest.
He was particularly effective in communicating his decisions, making it clear what he expected from players at the breakdown and during set pieces.
However, there were moments of controversy.
The big talking point
Australia trailed 17-14 at half-time and had an opportunity to take the lead early in the second period.
The Wallabies were building pressure near the New Zealand line when Brace penalised them for obstruction at a driving maul.
It proved a frustrating moment for the visitors, who were then marched further downfield following backchat.
Some Australian supporters questioned the original decision, particularly given how close the contest was at that stage.
New Zealand went on to take control of the match, with Cam Roigard among the try scorers.
TMO Mike Adamson also attracted criticism from supporters over another decision, although it is important to distinguish the television official's involvement from Brace's on-field performance.
Despite those complaints, Brace deserves credit for maintaining control without becoming the centre of attention.
All Blacks vs Australia referee: Fans react
Supporters were split over Brace's performance, with some particularly impressed by his communication.
John Ballingall wrote:
"Big shout out to Andrew Brace - absolutely nailed that game. The teams wanted to be positive & he let them play. Superb communication throughout & let players know his boundaries for how much they were shouting at him."
Another supporter, @wadesgotit, offered similar praise:
"But as a neutral Andrew Brace does a sublime job - fair, doesn't communicate too much and supremely accurate."
However, others were far less impressed.
Zenande Sonkwala questioned the obstruction penalty against Australia:
"Andrew Brace screwed Aus here, these games are won on moments, and when he ruled that there was an obstruction, when Aus were forming that maul, marginal at best."
Mark Smith also criticised the involvement of TMO Mike Adamson:
"Mike Adamson doing Mike Adamson things! He's hopeless! The fact Andrew Brace agrees... Wasn't clear & obvious."
Meanwhile, Peter Snashall simply wrote:
"Andrew Brace...referee on a rampage."
RUCK's final verdict: B+
Brace produced a largely assured performance in a fiercely contested Bledisloe Cup encounter.
His communication was a particular strength, and he allowed the match to develop without unnecessary interruptions.
The obstruction penalty against Australia was undoubtedly a significant moment, but one controversial decision does not define an entire refereeing performance.
New Zealand's dominance after the break ultimately decided the contest.
Final grade: B+
Brace has previously spoken about the vile abuse and death threats he received following an international match.
