Incoming Bath RFC head coach Johann van Graan has already recommended signings to the Black, Blue and Whites board ahead of next season.
#1. Rhys Patchell from Scarlets
The Wales international is a wanted man as he heads towards the end of his contract at the Scarlets.
Patchell, who can play at fly-half and full-back, becomes a free agent at the end of season and has been linked with Bath, who are said to see him as a potential replacement for Danny Cipriani.
Playing at No. 15, the 28-year-old performed impressively for the Scarlets against the English team in his team’s memorable 35-17 Heineken Champions Cup win at The Rec in 2018, having a hand in two of their four tries

#2. Joe Marler from Harlequins
Bath have reportedly made contact with Joe Marler’s agent over a potential deal for the England and Harlequins star, but they will have to stump up a huge salary to sign him.
It is claimed bottom of the table club want to sign the 72-cap forward – who is contracted at the Stoop until 2023 – amid rumours Ben Obano could be preparing to leave The Rec with Leicester Tigers and Saracens interested.
However, the black, blue and whites would reportedly have to pay over the odds to bring Marler to the club due to his reluctance to leave London.
The prop would reportedly want in the regions of £400,000 per season to make the switch.

#3. Louis Schreuder from Newcastle Falcons
The Newcastle Falcons scrum-half is understood to be in talks with the club, having previously played under incoming new coach Johann van Graan in the Springboks set-up.

#4. Nathan Hughes from Bristol Bears
Hughes has become a victim of the salary cap squeeze, with the England No 8 yet to agree a new contract with the club.
Hughes is likely to leave Ashton Gate at the end of the season with Bath reportedly eyeing him as the perfect like-for-like replacement for the departing Taulupe Faletau, who joins Cardiff next summer.
