Eddie Jones forced into self-isolation after positive test result

With just two weeks until the Six Nations, Eddie Jones has been forced into self-isolation after England coach Matt Proudfoot tested positive for COVID-19.

'The test was carried out as part of England’s tournament testing regime for the upcoming Guinness Six Nations. He is not displaying any symptoms.' read a statement from the RFU.

'Head coach Eddie Jones and Simon Amor have been identified as contacts and will also isolate for a 10-day period, in accordance with government guidelines.'

The England squad was set to be announced this Friday with players set to meet at St. George’s Park on Wednesday 27th January.

Following further negative tests, Jones and Amor will join up with the group on Thursday 28 January, in line with government regulation.

Jordie Barrett over Damian de Allende is far from being correct. The hype around Dupont is also overreaching, he's probably 4th in the world and has been since the 2023 WC. He also avoids certain matchups which is strange. The rest of the list is pretty good apart from minor subjective biases.
