England Rugby World Cup winner returning to Australia for I'm a Celebrity 2022

The hit ITV reality show - which is hosted by Ant and Dec - is heading back to Australia and always attracts a star-studded line-up.

Rugby World Cup winner Jonny Wilkinson is in the potential contestant’s list once again, Liverpool Live reports. However, he isn't the only rugby or sports star to make the list.

Fresh off hanging up his boots, the England international has been a staple of these sort of television shows. Foden was a contestant in The X Factor: Celebrity as a member of the group, Try Star, alongside Levi Davis and Thom Evans. They were eliminated in the semi-final, finishing in fifth place. He followed this up with an appearance on Dancing on Ice in 2021.

Last month bookies William Hill had the footballer and podcaster down for 7/1 to be part of the line-up. He will follow in the footsteps of other footie stars including Neil 'Razor' Ruddock.

The knitting-enthusiast, gold-medal-winning Olympian is a big target for TV bosses, both for IAC and Strictly. Earlier this year, it was claimed ITV bosses were in a battle with Strictly Come Dancing, as both the BBC and ITV were desperate to sign up the diver for their shows. A source said: "There is a race to secure Tom – both broadcasters know he will be loved by viewers."

She is the darling of ITV right now. After making her name on Strictly, she then switched broadcasters to join the judging panel on Dancing On Ice.
