We look at four players who will have impressed England head coach Eddie Jones with their performances in Europe.

#1. Zach Mercer (Montpellier)

The number 8 gave England head coach Eddie Jones a reminder of his outstanding talent as he scored two tries to steer Montpellier to a 40-26 win over Harlequins in the Heineken Champions Cup round of 16. Mercer was irresistible in the opening half, picking up from a close range breakdown to dive over for his first try and then racing 40 metres to the right corner for his second.

#2. Joe Marchant (Harlequins)

One of the few bright sparks for England during their dismal Six Nations campaign, the centre was one of the standout performers as Quins were defeated 40-26. He's found another level to his game in recent times and will be an important part of Eddie Jones plans moving forward.

#3. Harry Taylor (Gloucester)

The 20-year-old put in wonderful performance against Dragons as he exercised utter defensive dominance as well as some exciting moments with the ball in hand. One for the future.

#4. Nathan Hughes (Bristol Bears)

Back with a bang for Pat Lam's side. Hughes continued where he left off from his loan at Bath with a great return to play for the former England international in a Bristol shirt as they overcame Sale 10-9. Provided the traditional carries we have come to expect with 49m made from the eight carries.
