Australian whistleblower Damon Murphy was slammed online after appearing to rush medics to come to a decision on whether or not Jack Nowell needed a HIA early in the first half.
The 28-year-old was taken off with an injury sustained while tackling. However, it took several minutes before a medic could intervene before Nowell was replaced by Elliot Daly and subsequently failed his HIA.
The winger, who wouldn't be drawn into the controversy, tweeted to an image celebrating his comeback: "And it bleedy lasted 10 minutes…..fuming!! All good though guys, thanks for all the messages."
Despite losing their star winger, England went onto win comfortably 33-0 against Italy in Rome.
Despite losing their opener in Scotland, Eddie Jones' England are now second in the table behind unbeaten France after two rounds.
