With Warren Gatland set to name the Lions squad to face South Africa in May, time is running out for players to prove themselves worthy of a place on the plane.
Paddy Power have multiple specials markets for the Lions squad, with some players at surprisingly big prices.
Three really stick out.

#5. Ellis Genge Lions Odds

Gatland might be able to get the best out of the Baby Rhino's edginess. On form the loosehead-prop might be a long shot, but for style and fitting the Gatland mould he might be worth a punt.

#4. Tomos Williams Lions Odds

Wales’ initial starter in this tournament against Ireland before injuring his hamstring, and also at the start of 2020 under Pivac, the rapid No 9 has been primed to become Wales’ starter only for injury to hold him back. Gatland knows enough about him already to select him if he chooses.

#3. Duhan van der Merwe Lions Odds

Selected in Sir Ian McGeechan's Lions XV, the powerhouse winger has impressed for Scotland during the 2021 Six Nations. In the last three seasons in the Pro 14 he has been first or second for defenders beaten, made the most metres in 2019 and he was top of the charts for clean breaks in 2019.

#2. Sam Underhill Lions Odds

The back-rower has gone from 1/3 on to make the squad to 6/5 after missing the entire 2021 Six Nations. However, Gatland admitted he was a admirer of the powerhouse last year and that may give him a chance of making the squad.

#1. Hugo Keenan Lions Odds

The young Irish full-back has not put a foot wrong during the 2021 Six Nations. He’s come from nowhere, but definitely could travel as a wildcard pick.
