Nigel Owens' sends classy message after Garces named RWC final ref

Nigel Owens has sent a message to Jerome Garces, saying it is a “thoroughly deserved appointment” and that the 46-year-old “has been one of the top referees for many years now.”

This is a classy response from the popular Welsh referee, who actually ruled himself out of the chance of refereeing the final with a calf injury.

Jordie Barrett over Damian de Allende is far from being correct. The hype around Dupont is also overreaching, he's probably 4th in the world and has been since the 2023 WC. He also avoids certain matchups which is strange. The rest of the list is pretty good apart from minor subjective biases.
