However, the lock has rejected an offer from Super Rugby side The Chiefs to remain a free agent. He's reportedly having a bit of a break with his family before making his return. A line-out general like Retallick is the sort of player Bath need to go to the next level.
Bristol Bears - Logovi'i Mulipola
Pat Lam has built a phenomenal squad, making it hard to find someone who could considerably improve them. When Logovi'i Mulipola finishes his short-term deal at Gloucester, it never hurts to have a powerhouse international prop who can operate on either side of the scrum.
Exeter Chiefs - D.T.H van der Merwe
You can never have enough natural try-scorers at a club. The Canadian international, who departed Glasgow Warriors this summer, is one of the best around when it comes to crossing the whitewash and despite being 34-year-old he could still do a job off the bench for Rob Baxter's men
Gloucester Rugby - Tendai Mtawarira
The World Cup winner's arrival in Washington DC in February caused a mini stir in the United States capital. But, barely three months later, he ws back in South Africa, the stint over and done with, thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic. Where will he go next? Kingsholm, we hope.
Harlequins - Kyle Eastmond
Eastmond is reportedly set to sign a short-term deal with Harlequins after departing from Leicester Tigers. The 30-year-old was one of five players to have departed, alongside Manu Tuilagi, Telusa Veainu, Greg Batemen and Noel Reid, Tigers CEO Andrea Pinchen said in a video posted on the club website.
Leicester Tigers - John Barclay
Following his release by Edinburgh, the former Scotland captain is looking to continue playing but admitted he could instead wind up stacking supermarket shelves due to the freeze on player recruitment due to the coronavirus. The ex-Scotland captain would bring some much needed leadership to the Tigers back-row.
London Irish - Tatafu Polota-Nau
The 90-times capped Wallabies hooker spent 14 years in the international arena and moved to Leicester Tigers in 2017, and quickly became a crowd favourite.. The 34-year-old still has a lot to offer, and we all know how London Irish like an Australian.
Newcastle Falcons - Dan Carter
This one is a bit out there, but it gives him the chance to wear all black once again. The fly-half has been linked with short-term move to Quins following his stint with the Blues, thought to be for three months, ahead the start of the 2020/21 Gallagher Premiership. However, if the Falcons are to avoid the drop in their first season back, Carter is someone who would definitely help to say the least.
Northampton Saints - Agustin Creevy
The Argentina hooker has been heavily linked with London Irish, but we think a move to Northampton Saints would be better. The 35-year-old hooker would add further experience to an already incredible pack.

Wasps - David Pocock
Pocock is another player that has not given any details about his future, and at 31, he may still have more miles in the clock. However, this was the final season of his contract with the Panasonic Wild Knights in Japan, and given the stress his body has been put under throughout his career, no one would blame the flanker for hanging up his boots early. Worcester Warriors - Greg Bateman
