"Oscar worthy" - Wallabies star slammed for 'Hollywood dive' against the Springboks

Flanker Fraser McReight scored two tries, with Marika Koroibete adding a third for the Wallabies who had suffered a shock defeat by Argentina last time out.

However the game was marred by Wallabies scrum-half Nic White, who was slammed after his 'Oscar worthy' fall led to Faf de Klerk being yellow carded.

Rugby Youtube Squidge Rugby wrote: "That’s an all-time bit of scrum-half play by Nic White. Turns an absolutely nothing moment into a yellow card by milking it so vigorously they now serve that moment in vegan cafes."

One fan wrote: "Nic White should have been carded for that Oscar … his most embarrassing moment as a professional."

"No arms shoulder charge on Mapimpi doesn’t get looked at. Nic White auditions for the Socceroos and Faf gets yellow. Laughable," a second said.

A third added: "I really hope one of the Journos ask Dave Rennie why he didn’t take Nic White off for an HIA,"

"Excellent case study for research in Dramatic Art, thank you Nic White," commented a fourth.

As per Scrum Recap, these are the games slyest of hounds.

What they said: "He often overdoes the theatricality to the extent that not even the officials will give him a second look. Look back to the South Africa vs Scotland game a couple years back when he flung himself into the 'Beast' just to be laughed off by players and fans around him."

Our verdict: Nobody will forget that infamous telling off he got from Nigel Owens against South Africa during the 2015 Rugby World Cup. As the old saying goes, mud sticks.

The winger apologised for the incident after the game.

Our verdict: Habana is one of the best wingers of all-time, but it's a fair assessment that he occasionally was a bit dramatic with his on-field shenanigans

Our verdict: Not convinced. The Ireland fly-half is smashed regularly and there aren't any clear examples of him diving.

Our verdict: He's a little s**t. Can't argue with anything that they said.
