"Our seventh arrival" - Wasps confirm another signing despite financial concerns

Wasps have confirmed that Lock Cam Dodson has signed for the Club.
Dodson, who most recently played for Austin Gilgronis in Major League Rugby, linked up with the Club at the start of pre-season on a trial.
Men’s Head Coach Lee Blackett said; “Cam has shown great potential since he started training with us in June.
“Whilst Cam initially joined us on trial at the start of pre-season, it was clear he is an impressive athlete and someone we wanted to keep in the environment.
“We are delighted to welcome Cam to the squad and look forward to seeing him develop as a Wasps player.”
WASPS OTHER ARRIVALS:
#1. Vincent Koch from Saracens
Koch’s destructive scrummaging as part of South Africa’s ‘Bomb Squad’ saw him play a key role en route to them winning the William Webb Ellis trophy in 2019.
The 6ft 1in, 120kg forward, renowned for his great athletic ability, has made over 100 appearances for Saracens, helping them to win two European Champions Cups and two Premiership titles.
#2. Will Haydon-Wood from Newcastle Falcons
An England Under-20 international, Haydon-Wood made his Premiership debut against Exeter Chiefs in May 2021.
"We have been wanting to add another fly-half to the squad to complement Charlie Atkinson and Jacob Umaga," said Wasps head coach Lee Blackett.
"He's impressed since breaking through as a starter for Newcastle this season, which is why we're delighted to have beaten other Premiership clubs to securing his signature for next season."
#3. Immanuel Feyi-Waboso from Cardiff
The 18-year-old made his first team debut for Cardiff against Ospreys in April last year.
The winger or Centre will be a valued member of the Wasps Senior Academy squad for next season.
Born to Nigerian parents, Feyi-Waboso grew up as one of six siblings in Llandaff and kicked off his club rugby journey with Rumney RFC.
#4. John Ryan from Worcester
The 24-time capped international had appeared nearly 200 times for his home province Munster.
The tighthead-prop made his international debut for Ireland in 2016 and was part of the 2018 Grand Slam winning Six Nations squad.
The 33-year-old was also a member of Ireland’s 31-man squad for the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.
#5. Kiran McDonald from Glasgow Warriors
In June McDonald was also included in Scotland’s squad for the Summer internationals, alongside current Wasp Bomber Hislop.
The 27-year-old has made nearly 50 appearances for Glasgow and made his Warriors debut in 63-0 win against Canada A in 2016.
#6. Burger Odendaal from Lions
The 28-year-old had captained the Lions and Bulls in Super Rugby, the Currie Cup and more recently the United Rugby Championship.
Odendaal has previously worked with Wasps Attack Coach John Mitchell during his time with the Bulls.
The 6ft 2in centre, renowned for his physicality and strong carry has made over 100 appearances for the Bulls before switching to fellow South African side the Lions in 2020.
