There are reports this morning that teenage forward George Martin is in contention to replace Mark Wilson in the England team to play Ireland..
The 19-year-old, who has only made a handful of appearances for Leicester Tigers, has started in training runs this week.
England will take their entire 28-man squad to Dublin, and assistant coach Matt Proudfoot revealed Joe Marchant will travel as a 29th man.

Meanwhile, despite having Ollie Lawrence and Paolo Odogwu available, it’s being suggested that Elliot Daly is primed to return to the side in place of Henry Slade at outside-centre.

1. Where it started
Born in Nottingham and with a family home in Loughborough, George Martin was a student at Loughborough Grammar and then Melton Brooksby College as he made his way through the Tigers academy.

The 19-year-old only made his Premiership debut for Leicester Tigers last August against Bath at Welford Road, starting at blindside flanker in a strikingly inexperienced side selected by Steve Borthwick.

The versatile forward is capable of playing at lock and in the back row.

He has made only seven first-team appearances, with his debut in a Premiership Rugby Cup game away to Worcester Warriors in 2019.
