BBC rugby reporter has revealed how keyboard warriors sent messages to her private email account to criticise an honest mistake.
Sonja McLaughlan, who's been a touchline reporter with the BBC for over 20 years, accidently called Australian captain Michael Hooper by the name of his back-row colleague David Pocock following the 9-6 defeat for Australia.
And McLaughlan, herself revealed on Sunday, messages have been sent to her private email 'scolding me for making a mistake'.
She then added: "I’m now going out to get drunk," after opening up about the criticism coming through he private email address.
The rugby famuly have put a collective arms around her with Nigel Owens, Jonathan 'Jiffy' Davies, Ugo Monye, Gabby Logan and David Flatman among those going on to Twitter to offer their support.
