Newcastle Falcons can confirm that back-row forward Opeti Fonua has joined former club Agen with immediate effect.
The Tongan international, 29, has made 13 first team appearances since joining the Falcons from Leicester Tigers in the summer of 2016.
Newcastle Falcons director of rugby Dean Richards said: "I would like to thank Opeti for all his hard work during his time with us and wish him all the best for his move to Agen."
