The legendary Sir Ian McGeechan has predicted the final standings of the Six Nations 2021 table.
It all starts in Rome on Saturday with Italy hosting France, before attention switches to Twickenham where England face Scotland for the Calcutta Cup. Then on Sunday it's Wayne Pivac's Wales up against Andy Farrell's Ireland in Cardiff.
Here's how
McGeechan has predicted the table will look when all is said and done.
PREDICTED Six Nations 2021 table
6th: Italy
5th: Wales
4th: Ireland
3rd: Scotland
McGeechan said: "I’ve gone with Scotland in third place on the basis they also have three home games, including both Ireland and Wales."
2nd: France
1st: England
McGeechan said: "The 3:2 home:away ratio is arguably less critical this year than it usually is. But home advantage should still make a difference. England have three home games, including France, which is the key one."
