Sons of Wales and All Blacks legends named in England u20 squad

There are a number of names you may recognise as a number of talented youngsters look to follow their father's footsteps onto the international stage.

However, not necessarily the same country...find out more below.

Rugby union runs in the Stephens family, however, with Iwan's father Colin being a former Welsh international fly-half who famously kicked Llanelli to victory over the then world champions Australia back in 1992. Colin's playing career eventually took him to Leeds Tykes, with Iwan growing up playing both codes before specialising in rugby league with Leeds Rhinos, prior to his Newcastle Falcons move.

The 19-year-old began his rugby journey aged 6 at Windsor RFC and is currently playing for London Irish in the Gallagher Premiership. His father Zinzan Brooke played 58 times for the All Blacks and is widely considered the best number 8 of all-time.

Ethan began his rugby journey aged six at Old Northamptonians, following in the footsteps of older brother James, who also represented England U18s, 20s and plays in the first team at Northampton Saints.

Rugby runs in the family with World Cup winning dad Paul playing for Northampton Saints, England and the British and Irish Lions while twin brother (Joel) also plays for the Saints.

The tighthead-prop, who is on loan from Wasps, has been a standout performer for Chinnor this season, playing in 10 of their 13 National League 1 fixtures. His Dad, also a prop made just one appearance for England despite his stellar club career with London Irish.
