Premiership side Gloucester have confirmed new contracts for three players.
#1. Lloyd Evans
The Dean Close product made his senior debut for Gloucester Rugby in the LV Cup at Northampton in November 2013, and in May 2015, Evans made his Premiership debut as a replacement against Bath Rugby.
Since then, Evans has gone on to make 76 first-team appearances in Cherry & White at fly-half and full-back, including 19 this season.
Gloucester Rugby’s Head Coach George Skivington has been impressed with Evans’ adaptability this season.
“Lloyd is a valuable member of the squad and his ability to play at either fly-half or full-back is a great asset for the club.
“He’s been around at the club for a long time and knows what it means to play for Gloucester Rugby, and we’re pleased that he’s committed to a new deal here.”
#2. Alex Seville
Loosehead prop, Seville, joined Gloucester Rugby’s Senior Academy in 2017 whilst studying at Hartpury College. Seville represented Hartpury in the RFU Championship and also gained international honours with England U20s.
The 24-year-old made his first senior appearance in the 2018/19 season and has pulled on the Cherry & White jersey 43 times to date.
#3. Ciaran Knight
On the other side of the scrum, Knight has made 69 Gloucester Rugby appearances since his 2017 debut.
The 25-year-old is a product of Gloucester’s Matson RFC from whom he joined the Gloucester Rugby Academy from in 2016.
Knight also represented England U20s, playing a key role in their 2017 Six Nations victory.
Gloucester Rugby Head Coach, George Skivington, is pleased to secure the duo’s services for the 2023/24 season.
