"Won't play again" - Will Greenwood ranks every England player on their 2022 Six Nations

Writing in The Telegraph, former England centre Will Greenwood has ranked every one of Eddie Jones' players on their 2022 Six Nations performances.

England won just two matches for the second successive championship and scored fewer tries than in 2021.

#3. Courtney Lawes - 9/10

Greenwood wrote: "Nearly made my team of the day for the final weekend. So much respect for him, having questioned his all-round game when he first started. Most improved England player of the past decade."

#2. Ellis Genge - 9/10

Greenwood wrote: "One of few England players to be considered for the team of the tournament. Forceful, aggressive, committed - what else do you need for a loosehead? Build the team around him."

#1. Maro Itoje - 9/10

Greenwood wrote: "He is amazing. You could stick him in both the French and Irish packs. He is one of the few players England have who you can consider for the team of the tournament. Monstrous."

WORST PLAYERS:

#3. Max Malins - 6/10

Greenwood wrote: "Suffered from the playing style, but he will be nervous about selection for the summer tour to Australia as well as a result. There weren't enough special moments, as with most of the wingers."

#2. Ben Youngs - 6/10

Greenwood wrote: "Has to be acknowledged what an achievement it is to become England's most-capped men's player of all time. But, he'll be happy to get back to title-chasing Leicester. Contrast with Dupont was clear."

#1. Charlie Ewels - 5/10

Greenwood wrote: "Ignominy. That red card record could still be there when he's in his sixties. Actually had one of his best England games against Wales but he'll have to be incredible when he returns."
